As papers join my photo paper library I test them for their response to daylight exposure, as a lumen print. These test pieces have been fixed and then and bound into two volumes. Some examples of the papers can be seen in the slideshow while I work on digitizing and making the paper tests accessible in a searchable manner.
A word of warning – “2 hours shade” is in no way a repeatable exposure. I live in South Texas and so two hours of shade on a sunny day at this latitude will not be comparable to two hours of shade further North. The bulk of the tests were conducted on clear, low-humidity days in March/April 2018, but some were not completed until June, on high-humidity, sunny interval days. The exposures are not intended to be repeatable (even for me), they are intended to give a rough idea as to the lumen color and speed of the paper.
