[gallery_desc]The twists and turns of a forest, the trails of a human-scale landscape cannot be captured in a single image. Landscape is an experience, a movement through a place that is a collection of lights and weather and seasons, rocks and water and plants. My work does not represent a single location or time but is a metaphor for place, thinking about the way that landscapes form and change, our traces on its surface and our complicated relationship to the natural world. If a landscape could tell stories about itself, what would it say?[/gallery_desc]
